"Mom's T-Bird" 1959 Ford Thunderbird

   This 1959 Thunderbird was "mom's car" for the family that is having it restored and brought into the 21st century this winter. It has been in the same family since 1961 and is about to undergo a major overhaul. We started this build the first week of November 2018 and will reveal the final result the first week of November 2019 at The Sema Show in Las Vegas! The transformation into a sleeper T-bird will include a 2016 Gen II Coyote engine with approx 430HP, a 6 speed automatic transmission and a full chassis with coil overs, disc brakes and Moser rear axle from Scott's Hot Rod's, plus a mostly stock appearing interior wrapped in Leather and adapted to accommodate the modern drive line.
